On my top 10 list of household chores I could blissfully live without, wrestling a duvet into a cover is up there. Especially since nowadays I have a teeny baby who requires most of my attention, fighting with large pieces of fabric is very low on my desire-to-do list. It makes me willing to live with whatever consequences I may face from having a dirty bed. So when Crane & Canopy, a spanking new outlet for high-quality, reasonably-priced bedding, sent me a video of their easier-to-implement comforter cover, I was intrigued. It employs a zipper rather than buttons, and it has corner ties so your corners don’t end up in the wrong corners, if you know what I mean. They also don’t skimp on aesthetics: the covers have the look of a perfectly turned-down sheet, no struggle required. Check it out in the video below!
And stay tuned for new designs coming September 1! Duvet cover application still my not be my all time fave, but aren’t you imagining hating it a bit less? Now if they could invent something to iron my clothes and empty my dishwasher.
