Ladies and gentlemen (but mostly ladies), tomorrow evening I will be co-hosting an extremely fun event in San Francisco where you can buy and sell party dresses while you eat, drink, and make merry. It’s a “Posh Party,” thrown by the iPhone app Poshmark, and it’s all happening on Wednesday night at Acre/SF, a super hip and awesome boutique located at 301 Union St. at Montgomery. I will tell you a secret: I have never been to ACRE/SF. It’s become practically mythical to me at this point, with every style maven in the city talking it up. So I’m excited.
I have sifted through my overflowing closet and chosen a party dress to put up for auction. (It wasn’t hard, I have about five dresses in my closet with the tags still on.) A bunch of other local fashiony types are doing the same, including the lovely Angela Tafoya of Refinery 29 and Steph Palmeri, who I’m very excited to meet tomorrow! YOU can also sell a party dress, perhaps the one that treated you well this holiday season, but that you’re kind of done with? And if you show up at ACRE/SF, the Poshmark peeps will show you how to list it on the app. If you don’t already have the Poshmark App, you can download it here. That way if you can’t make it to the fete, you can attend virtually through the app! But wouldn’t you rather be there in person so we can totally hang out and raise a glass together? I for one sure could use some IRL contact right about now. See more details in the flyer above, and see you there! (P.S., here’s a sneak peek at the dress I’m selling! It’s Erin Fetherston’s bunny print dress from her Target collection—never worn. Just in time for Easter!)
