Shopping search engine TheFind is hosting a trunk show tonight in San Francisco to show off Alpaca Collections’ latest sweatery clothing, which, let’s face it, San Franciscans will be wearing until September. It’s the only place you can see in person and cuddle with the super-soft new additions to their Kuna line, which will soon be available online.
Alpaca Collections makes their sweaters, dresses, cardigans and accessories using ancient Peruvian textile tradition combined with a modern South American design ethic. Everything is made of sustainable natural fibers and fabrics, most of which come from the Alpaca animals or pima cotton raised or grown in Peru. And FYI, according to the company, alpaca is softer, lighter and stronger than cashmere or sheep wool, and its “lustrous” fibers are stain, odor, flame and wrinkle resistant.
If you’re not in it for the beauty and sustainability, come for the champagne and cupcakes! RSVP at EventBrite.
