Are you not quite sure what a Pilates is? Do you think it might be pronounced PILE-ATES? That’s OK! That’s what Demo Day this Saturday at Core Pilates and Physical Therapy is for.
Some of you might already know that I teach Pilates there a bit. It’s an awesome studio with tons of space, five reformers, two Cadillacs a bunch of Pilates chairs, and lots of props for mat classes. If the previous sentence sounds like Greek to you, you should definitely come to Demo Day on Saturday! Instructors will be teaching free classes, and we’ll be showing everyone how to use the equipment and perform the exercises. If you’ve ever been curious about Pilates but felt intimidated by those torture chambery-looking contraptions, this is your chance to find out it’s nothing to be scared of. I mean you could come in anytime and we will be really nice and patient and answer any questions you might have! But Saturday is set aside specifically for question-asking purposes. And it’s FREE! Check out the schedule above, and if any of the time slots look doable for you, give us a call and sign up for class (they might get full so definitely call ahead!)
Trust me, you won’t be sorry. Pilates is awesome. It will make you strong and it might even make you taller. I grew a half an inch after I’d been doing it regularly for a year or so, no lie. You work all the muscles in your body in all different directions for a super balanced and fit result. Are you seriously still not convinced? OK fine we’ll throw in a massage. Happy? See you there!
