They weren’t lying: every item was vintage at All Vintage Everything, hosted by Designers + Artists and Fashion Indie SF. And they were good vintage: perfectly 70s flowered maxi dresses, drool-worthy rocker leather jackets, perfectly proper clutches, amazing jewelry and way more were served up at the All Vintage Everything, which took place at Sub Mission in the San Francisco’s Mission district.
My lucky find was a gold lamé cropped top (to be featured in an outfit pic soon) from the super sweet and helpful Hummingbird Vintage girls Jennifer Rubin and Annalise Furman. The one that got away was an amazing brown leather biker jacket from Goodbye Heart Vintage, a usually online shop founded by David Watkins and Amanda Hughes-Watkins. The jacket was a little too snug and a little too pricey for me at the moment (looking for a new apartment and all). But luckily they’ve got TONS more on the Goodbye Heart website, which is truly amazing, especially in the leather jacket department. If I were a very tiny rock star, I would buy this one.
Other attractions at the event were makeup artist Nikol Elaine, who had amazing hair color (created by Cowboys and Angels, check out the photo), feather hair extensions by the ladies from The Mission Statement, and of course delicious beverages.
I came away spending just $14 on a gold lamé top, and my partner in crime The Styley made off with an amazing 70s floral dress for just $25. In all, a very good night.
