If, like me, you suffer from GATW (gap at the waist) when you try on jeans that fit in your butt and thighs, I have some happy news for you.
… Especially if you also tend to suffer from denim sticker shock. These jeans by Revice Denim fit snugly and comfortably around all my woman curves, and they cost less than $100. AND, they’re made in Los Angeles. (Read on for more about the jeans and the bag!)
Revice makes many cute designs, from flares to skinnies to crops. These are the Paris Bells in black, and they are the brand’s “dream fit,” which the company tells me its designers spent many hours perfecting.
The hard work paid off because these are for real the best-fitting jeans I’ve tried in a LONG time. They are weighty and have a bit of stretch. The bottoms are frayed, so if you’re a bit of a shorty like me, hemming involves simply cutting them off to your preferred length.
Oh and let’s talk about this bag by Bartaile. They’re a new brand that makes beautiful and functional backpacks for women in leather or leather/canvas combo. It has all kind of handy compartments, including a protective laptop slot. I’m all about being hands-free these days, so I’m digging this modern take on the school kid bag. But you can also adjust the strap to create a cross-body style, or as you can see you can carry it joyfully by the top handle. You can even fold it over like so, which is my next move. That’s the kind of versatility that really can take you from day to night.
