Stay tuned for more photos where I promise you’ll be able to see the whole fabulous jumpsuit. In the meantime check them out on Jay Leno below! Kelsey told me the dress she’s wearing is her “magic dress.” She said it makes her feel like she’s in her “home office.” Bonus that she also looks totally hot in it.
Then we had a press conference featuring a panel of five people who are unlikely to ever be on astage together again: Evan Rich from Rich Table, a super hot San Francisco restaurant, Chris Hall of Long Meadow Ranch Winery, Thalassa “Lassa” Skinner, founder of Culture magazine and author of Cheese for Dummies, Ty Roberts , Gracenote CEO and Outside Lands Hackathon organizer (yes there was a hackathon), and Graham Fink of Milo Greene. They just kind of talked about stuff and things. No breaking news or anything.
Then they gave us some wine and cheese.
Next on the schedule was an interview with Milo Greene, including the chic and badass Marlena Sheetz:
I really wanted to steal her sunglasses. She said they cost less than $10.
Speaking of bargains, The 2 Bandits jewelry had a booth at the festival, and everything was 90 percent off. We died.
And then! We met three Mexican guys from El Fanzine. We first encountered Jaime Fernandez, on the far left below, on Friday when we witnessed his exuberant dancing at Paul McCartney (see video in that link). Yesterday, we ran into him and showed him the video, which was fun. Then we met his colleagues Andreas Medina, editor in Chief of El Fanzine (on the right), and Julio Pineda, founder of the publication. They were wearing some rad accessories—check out their beaded necklaces below made by the Mexican Huichol tribe of San Luis Potosi.
Also, this happened!!
We <3 Outside Lands! We’re pretty destroyed right now though. After two straight days of tromping around the Polo Fields, drinking lord knows how much free beer, and lots of dancing and yelling and singing, maybe we’ll make it over to Outside Lands again today? Fingers crossed.
