One of our very favorite stores in San Francisco, Shotwell, launched online shopping yesterday. We love the story behind this retail business, which was founed by Michael and Holly Weaver as a brick and mortar vintage store at their home on Shotwell Street in San Francisco’s Mission district. They later added local vendors and designer brands, and in just one year saw such great success that they expanded into their current spacious shop at 320 Grant Avenue. They’ve made the Union Square transition without sacrificing their indy vibe or reasonable prices. We love shopping there in person, especially for their amazing vintage selection which isn’t available online yet. But it’s nice to know we have options when we’re feeling lazy. They also have the *best* shopping bags (black with white silhouettes of the kids in the image above. Here’s hoping they include one when you shop online!).
We swear if we had these 10 pieces we’d be 100 percent ready for fall.
