All of the proceeds, as in 100 percent of the $144 per pair (for the skinnies, the pencil legs are $90), will go to City Year. J Brand created three limited edition colors just for City Year—apache, plumberry and vine. Their goal is to sell 1,000 pairs, which I am certain they will have no problem doing. Because their jeans are really awesome.
In the photos you see before you I’m wearing the mid-rise skinny version in apache. And can I just say: jeans never fit me. I usually have to choose between them fitting at the waist or the legs: i.e. gap at the back or sausage-encased thighs. But these just fit, no gap, no sausage. I also find that my size (28 if you must know) is consistent across the different styles (I also recently got a pair of their coated jeans, to die! And shockingly comfy. Check out all the City Year styles here. They also have some styles for girls! Now that I have a neurtral color I am coveting the plumberry. How perfect would they be for the holidays? You should totally buy a pair.
Note: J Brand gifted me these jeans!
Other stuff I’m wearing: Jacket: Diesel (ancient); tank top: Love Yaya (also ancient), bag and necklace: Topshop; boots: Jeffrey Campbell for Free People.
