Rikke Korff’s motivation behind her new line The Furies is “to make women who rock look like they fucking rock.” And I’m here to attest that Korff herself effing rocks. The Venice Beach, California-based designer made an appearance at San Francisco’s Azalea last Thursday. She helped revamp the face of Levi’s in the late 90s and early 2000’s, and now she’s bringing everything she learned about design and business to The Furies and its parent company, The Korff Kounsil. I’m head over heels for the Noh Beast Skin dress ($102 at Revolve).
Stay tuned for a Q & A with Korff, who has some opinions on feminism (old fashioned), modern fashion (it should make you feel awesome), high heels (the should not prevent you from going about your business), and the business of fashion (Levi’s knows what they’re doing).
