I’ve been thinking a lot about marble hallways lately—the weighty feeling you get when you walk down them and the decisions being made behind the closed doors that line them.
So it was a nice bit of kismet on this particular day of shooting photos at San Francisco’s City Hall that I happened to be wearing marbled pants among the marbled hallways. I wish I could say I had enough foresight to plan this matchy-match situation, but it did not occur to me that my silk pants matched the building until Anna and I were walking among all the brides with their photographers and the civic workers in their dress slacks. All the fascinating outfit details can be found below the photos.
