This might be the oddest food as outfit post I’ve done yet. But the husband recently made coleslaw, and it was so delicious as to render me currently slaw-obsessed. I HATED coleslaw as a kid. Mostly I encountered the variety including copious mayonnaise, which was gross. But the fancy version my Persian came up with contained no mayo covering the cabbage, just vinegar, a bit of sugar, mustard and fennel seed. He served it with grilled ono and it was very delicious.
We have a ton leftover. So I was browsing around trying to come up with more ideas to serve with slaw, and came across this recipe for slaw with quinoa (conveniently it adheres to my current diet parameters). I’m totally making this tonight. I’ll let you know how it is!
