Last week it was the suh-weet Tartine morning bun. This week we’re going savory and transforming a delicious fish taco into an outfit. Credit where it’s due: a tweet from my former colleague Snackfight inspired the idea. I rather enjoyed making a fish taco into a ladies’ outfit. The pattern on the dress, though it may be hard to make out, is SCALES! Too perfect, right? (It’s also from Suno, one of my fave designers) We’ve got some sprinkles of tomato, lime, avocado and cabbage represented in the jewelry. We’ve got yellow for the corn tortilla, and we’ve got a nice golden brown jacket, just like the battered breading on yummy grilled fish.
Anyone else have a favorite food you’d like to see made into an outfit? Hit me up at kp at stylenik.com.
