When I looked at my ticket for the Rebecca Taylor runway show in New york, it said EE-1-something, and it looked for a second like that might be a front row seat, but I quickly banished the thought. In what world do I sit in the front row at a fashion show? Next thing I knew I was sitting next to Kelly Framel from The Glamourai in the front row (thanks so much to my fash friend Grace Sun for the photographic evidence!). I was certain someone would politely but firmly direct me to my actual seat any minute. But Kelly and I chatted up a storm and what do you know, the lights went down and there I was, watching a New York fashion show from the front row.
Guess where I was for the next three shows? Standing. Like Heidi says, one minute you’re in, and the next, you’re out! Or just without a place to sit.
Anyway, check out these images from the front row (where it’s actually really hard to get good photos) at Rebecca Taylor’s Spring/Summer 2012 runway show. I loved the colorful (and reasonably-heeled!) shoes, as well as the shiny hooded rain jackets.
